I am Soham Dan and am currently pursuing my doctorate degree in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Previously I graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a BTech. in Computer Science and Engineering and received the President of India Gold Medal for the highest CGPA in my batch. Even before that I was enrolled in the 4 year classroom program at FIITJEE Kolkata and was taught physics by Ritul Kumar sir for around two years. Ritul sir is extremely caring about his students and always gives attention to each student's individual needs. He went beyond what was prescribed by the FIITJEE booklet material and discussed problems from IE Irodov's book which greatly helped spark interest in the Physics concepts for me and my batchmates. Tackling these difficult problems greatly benefit the IITJEE preparation as well as for other competitive exams like the Physics Olympiad. He was always mindful of the different learning rates of the students and he made sure everyone thoroughly understood his teaching by allocating extra hours after class for individual discussions and clarifications. Further, he gave us his personal contact details and was open to long problem discussions anytime, both in person and over phone. His teaching style is extremeley methodical and lucid and his English is perfect. I can confidently say that Ritul sir's teaching is of the highest quality.
